I love cooking! I rarely do it because no one really eats with me at home. Making dinner for two is way better than making it for one.
Well one day I just decided to make some banh bao, other known as steamed buns. It's really simple to make but extremely time consuming. I think it takes me about 1 1/2 to almost 3 hours completing the project solo!
Why does it take so long? It's because you have to prep everything like mix the dough, boil and cut eggs, cut the lap xuong, season the ground pork, cut onions and garlic, roll out the dough, stuff it with the fillings and close it up. Lots and losts of work!
These babies are well worth the hardwork because they are yummy and great on the go!
If you want to know what recipe I used, just buy a bag of Banh Bao mix at your local asian grocery store and look at the back.
